Elicasal ointment , 30g size, isA topical medical preparation available by prescription.It contains two active ingredients: mometasone furoate (0.1%) , a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, itching, and redness, and salicylic acid (5%) , which acts as a solvent and exfoliant for the stratum corneum to soften scales and create a pathway for absorption of the treatment.
Uses:
• Treatment of skin diseases accompanied by peeling and dry flakes.
• Cases of eczema, psoriasis, skin infections and hypersensitivity, keratosis.
How to use it:
• A thin layer of ointment is usually applied to the affected area once a day for adults and children over two years old (or as directed by a doctor).
• Avoid using it on open wounds or mucous membranes, or for prolonged periods in children.
